This policy explains what data we process when you use Ooportunity, what we use it for, who it's shared with and how you can ask us to delete it. It's written to be understood; if anything isn't clear, write to us and we'll clarify it.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Magic Content Agency, which provides the Ooportunity service, referred to as “we” or “us”. You can contact us at hola@ooportunity.com.
What data we process
Your account data
- Your name and your email address.
- Your password, always stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text. We don't know it and can't recover it: we can only check whether the one you type matches.
- The date you last logged in and, for each open session, its IP address and browser, so you can spot logins you don't recognize.
- Failed login attempts, which we keep to stop brute-force attacks on your account.
Your social network accounts
We store which networks you're connected to, your username on them and the status of the connection. The connection is made through Metricool, and your network credentials never pass through our servers: we don't have your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube password, and we can't log in to those accounts on our own.
Your videos
- The file you upload, its title and the thumbnail.
- The transcript and the caption that are generated automatically from it.
- When you want to publish it, on which networks, and the link to the post.
The original file isn't kept indefinitely. It's deleted from our servers some time after it's published. The transcript, the caption and the link to the post are kept while your account remains active, because they're what let you look back at your history.
Your analytics
We store a daily summary, per network, of your followers, views and interactions, which we get from Metricool. We keep it on our own servers so we can show you how you're doing over time.
What we use it for
- To give you access to your account and keep it secure.
- To process your videos: transcribe them, write the caption and publish them on the networks and at the time you choose.
- To show you your analytics and your posting calendar.
We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising and we don't share it with anyone except as detailed below.
Who else can see your data
This is important, so please read all of it.
- Your manager, if you have one assigned. They can see and manage your account data: your videos, your calendar and your analytics.
- Our admin team, to provide support and run the service.
- Oopbuy, as a partner in the program, can see the list of creators in the system, by name, and their performance analytics. This access is read-only: Oopbuy can't change anything, upload or publish on your behalf, or see your videos before they're published.
Providers involved
- Metricool, which manages the connection to your networks and your scheduled posts.
- The service that transcribes and writes the caption for your videos.
- Our server provider, where the application and the database are hosted.
And, of course, the social networks themselves where you choose to publish: what's published there is governed by each platform's terms.
How long we keep it
- Video files: deleted some time after they're published.
- Account data, analytics and history: for as long as your account is active.
- If you close your account: deleted as described in the next section.
Your rights
At any time, you can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, take it to another service or object to our processing it. Email hola@ooportunity.com and we'll reply within one month at most.
How to delete your account and exactly what happens to each piece of data is explained in the Terms of Service.
If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything significant, we'll let you know before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
